HOT CAKES
New item, ancient technique. Hot wax painting was widely used to colorize stone statues. Many artist adapted them to paint on canvas.

These are made in the USA...feature high pigment, wax, damar crystals (No damar-varnish which has turpentine).

Pancake griddle is one odd tool that is needed to get started...and of course brushes and a surface to paint...masonite is a great start.

"Raised in a military family, Marjorie was educated at Reed College in Portland Oregon, and The Sir John Cass School of Art in London. While living in Manhattan, she worked as an art therapist, where she developed her view of the theraputic value of art. She also worked in public relations." She moved to upstate New York to raise her three children. Chronologically, the paintings predate the poems."

Art In The Park

My lunch break today I went down to see all the great art! Very nice, beautiful day, lot of people! I hope the artists made some sales ;-/

My mission was to photo some and gather up contact info and during this next week I'll be posting what I have gathered up!
